Our calendar is designed to highlight family-friendly events that are accessible to the community. We prioritize events that are free or low-cost, hosted by our advertisers, or provide enriching experiences such as theater performances, sporting events, festivals, and fairs. While we aim to include a variety of activities, we generally do not list regularly scheduled, fee-based offerings that are part of a business’s operations, such as paid classes or sessions. Exceptions may be made for events that are free or offered at a very low cost. If you’re unsure whether your event qualifies, email calendar@ccparent.com for clarification.
Submitting your event information early will give you the best chance of being included in our print calendar of events. The submission deadline for our print edition is the 10th of the month preceding the event—though space often fills up before then. If your event is submitted after the print edition deadline, it may be included in our online calendar or other digital coverage.
We work hard on our calendar of events, but space is limited. Submission of your event does not guarantee your event will be published. The only way to guarantee your event will appear in the magazine, is to purchase a display ad.
