Sumner Peck Ranch Open House – Friant

Join the San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust’s “Youth Parkway Ambassadors” Madera South High School cohort for a free Open House at Sumner Peck Ranch from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Bring your family and participate in any of our free activities presented by high school youth leaders. Nature Walk to Ledger Island: Departs at 10 a.m. (advanced registration may be required.) Canoeing: 10–11:30 a.m. and 1–1:30 p.m. (advanced registration to reserve your boat and time slot required to guarantee your space.) Orienteering: 10–11:30 a.m. River Art: 10 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Scavenger Hunt: 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. (advanced registration to reserve your family’s space required; teams of up to 6; winning team for each hunt receives a voucher for a 2-hour canoe rental at Sycamore Island valid in 2023.)
